 Timing System for Swimming

ALGE-TIMING has exact with the begin of the new swim season a new timing system available.

SWIM 2000 is completely contolled by a PC with Windows® (Windows 95, 98 or NT4.0).

The data of the connected ALGE devices at the swimming pool are sent by a bus system (RS 485) to the SWIM Controller SWC.

The built in temperature compensated quartz oscillator (TCXO) guaranties high timing precision. Through a integrated battery the system will run even in case of a power failure. The SWIM Controller SWC saves all times of the race. Even in case of a PC-failure you will not loose any data. You can transmit the data at a later point again to the PC and print then the result list.

The timing system can handle up to twelve lanes. You can use on each lane on both ends a touch pad, three handswitch, and a starting block (for relay starts). An amplifier for the speaker system is integrated. The Windows® Software includes a timing software, an evaluation software, and a list generator.

Further you can use the system also for water polo, diving, and synchronized swimming.
